You really should visit the city of Ronda, origin of bandits and romantic travellers, is located on a rocky plateau towering above the valley of the River Guadalquivir, which flows between a breath-taking pass which divides the plateau in two. This is the capital of the mountainous area and the White Villages. Two of the most beautiful monuments of Ronda are: The Bull Ring and the New Bridge. There are also a lot of convents, churches and palaces.

Do you like to get lost in "secondary roads" with your car? We recommend you some awesome routes:

Route of "Valle del Guadiaro": The railway track in its way to the city of Algeciras goes throughout the banks of the river which gives its name to the valley where we are situated. This valley goes past the canyon of "Cañón de las Buitreras" to the train station of Gaucín. "Cueva del Gato" or the Cat Cave (it is seen in our introductory photography), "Cueva de la Pileta" (one of the most important caves in Spain for its cave paintings), the villages of Benaoján, Montejaque, Jimera de Líbar and Cortes de la Frontera, among others, with its kind inhabitants and landscapes, are just some of the main appeals you will find in this beautiful journey.
